Job description

This is a full time Practice Manager role (in-office) position.

We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated business professional, to join and lead our  management team.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Your previous experience ideally includes:

  • A minimum of 5+ years as a Medical Practice Manager, or management roles similiar.
  • People and leadership skills - you are a natural and effective communicator and leader, with decision-making capability and commercially astute.
  • Strategic planning, review and implementation of processes to increase efficiency and contribute to the overall excellence of care provided to our practitioners and patients.
  • Be able to produce budgets, and other spreadsheets to support strategic planning of the business.
  • Strong computer skills, including information security and the ability to learn systems quickly
  • High level of Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Financial literacy including basic bookkeeping (ideally Xero) and accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and accreditation processes.
  • Knowledge of employment conditions.
  • A good working knowledge of medical and accounting software systems & billing experience with Medicare, Hi-caps, DVA and Private Eftpos preferred
  • Sound business and commercial acumen with experience in working to achieve business goals, KPI's for business and staff
  • Proven experience in building patient and stakeholder relationships
  • Be forward thinking to ensure longevity of business model
  • Strong business acumen – ability to operate and communicate at both a strategic and operational level;
