For members who missed any of our recent COVID-19 resources or activities, here is a summary: Advocacy AAPM has been in direct contact with the First Assistant Secretary and other staff of the Primary Care Division, Commonwealth Dept of Health on a daily basis regarding a range of issues our members have been facing, including access to PPE, billing practices and item numbers, telehealth, PIPQI, vaccine availability, and many other issues. We have also been working in the background with the PHNs and a host of other organisations. AAPM HR Advisory Service AAPM’s HR Advisory Service has answered many hundreds of calls from members during the pandemic, providing free expert advice on how to manage staffing issues arising from COVID-19, including a lot of advice about the JobKeeper initiative, as well as recent changes to the Fair Work Act and what they mean for employers and employees managing through this pandemic.
