Initiatives within the Federal Budget include $4.9 million to support quality improvement within general practice, as well as $106 million to provide a permanent commitment to Telehealth. Primary Health Networks (PHNs) have been identified as a key intermediary between Government and the healthcare sector in the coordination of services. PHNs will continue to work alongside Practice Managers to assist in the implementation of these initiatives.
