AAPM is Australia’s only peak association for healthcare Practice Management. Our goal is that you will benefit through the professional recognition, continuing education, networking, personal development, support and advice offered by AAPM membership.
AAPM members are employed in all areas of healthcare including general practice, allied health, speciality, psychology, dental, physiotherapy, podiatry and more. AAPM represents Practice Managers, Business Managers, Operation Managers, CEOs and Principals – the key decision makers in a practice.
AAPM has a range of membership categories enabling healthcare Practice Managers in differing practice environments to select and benefit from a membership type that best suits them.
Individual Membership
Individual Membership is open to any person who manages a healthcare practice or who is actively involved in the management of healthcare practice/s. Membership remains with the individual and is non-transferable.
CPD requirements: AAPM recommends that Members undertake to achieve a minumum of 100 CPD points in each triennial period to remain current in their profession.
Practice Membership
A medical, GP, specialist, dental, allied health practice or community health centre which delivers healthcare may apply to become a Practice Member. This membership encourages multiple persons within a single practice to access the services and benefits of AAPM. Membership is based on the number of sites operating under each company. Practice membership remains with the business, irrespective of staff changes. One manager per site may be nominated as the key contact for that site.
Certified Practice Manager Membership

International Membership
Available to those that currently reside outside of Australia.
