AAPM Scholarship
AAPM is proud to continue to offer its scholarship program to foster and promote training and professional development for AAPM members. There are four funded scholarships available, delivered by the University of New England Partnerships (UNEP).
At AAPM, investing in the profession of Practice Management is incredibly important. In today’s complex environment, the way a practice is managed plays a critical role in patient outcomes, through providing excellence in healthcare practice management.
2025 AAPM Scholarship Program
Applications for the 2025 AAPM Scholarship Program are closed.
Scholarships are available in one of the courses listed below:
Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) (BSB30120)
Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (HLT33021)
Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting (HLT47715)
Certificate IV in Health Administration (HLT47321)
Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB40520)
The courses have been developed in conjunction with industry professionals, and are aimed at all levels in the profession of Practice Management. Scholarships offer students a career path within the Practice Management environment, to develop career progress. All courses are delivered and completed via distance education only.
Eligibility Criteria
Be a current annual financial AAPM member or the main contact of an annual financial Practice Membership for a minimum of two consecutive years.
Employed in a healthcare Practice Management team role.
Completed Year 12 or have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a healthcare practice.
Meet any other criteria required by UNE Partnerships for admission into the relevant course.

AAPM is proud to offer the AAPM Colleen Sullivan Scholarship, in recognition of Colleen's long-time contribution to education ad AAPM.
This Scholarship is for enrolment in the UNE Partnerships Diploma of Leadership in Healthcare Practice (11293NAT) and is suitable for an experienced Practice Manager with a wide range of business responsibilities in the practice environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Be a current annual financial member of AAPM, for a minimum of two consecutive years. Currently employed as a Practice Manager or similar in a healthcare practice.
Is an advocate of AAPM and the profession of Practice Management.
