20 March Register to use SafeScript and keep your patients on the safe side! March 20, 2019 By SafeScript 0 SafeScript will soon roll out across Victoria. If doctors in your practice have not already registered, they will soon be emailed a link and instructions. Alternatively, they can register now atwww.safescript.vic.gov.au. Over 7,000 clinicians have registered to use SafeScript and many are already finding it a valuable tool to enhance their clinical decision making. Best Practice, Medical Director, Genie and ZedMed now offer integration with SafeScript. When a doctor or nurse practitioner prescribes a monitored medicine through integrated software, a pop-up notification will appear on their desktop within seconds. Notifications are colour-coded in either green, amber or red, and will save doctor’s time by letting them know if there is information in SafeScript requiring attention. A click on the notification takes them directly to the patient's record. Visit www.health.vic.gov.au/safescriptfor steps on how to integrate SafeScript with your practice’s clinical software today.
