4 November Pathology e-requesting update November 4, 2020 By Announcement, Communication, Digital Health Agency, My Health Record 0 Over the last year there has been a significant increase in My Health Record participation by pathology providers. In September more than 3.6 million pathology reports were added resulting in a total of almost 65 million pathology reports now available. GPs in all states and territories are able to access pathology reports from most metropolitan and regional public hospitals and private pathology provider connections are increasing. Benefits of e-requesting include: Streamlined customer collection experience Faster collections and less time waiting for patients Transcription errors are reduced Results can be delivered more quickly to the requesting practitioner.
