Standish Street Surgery, Myrtleford is located in the beautiful Northeast Victoria.
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to work closely with the Practice Principals and to support the dedicated team of GP’s, Nurses and Reception staff.
We are seeking a person who has a genuine interest in caring for the health needs of others.
Our Practice is an established Family Medical Practice. Our Practice Manager will be stepping down at the end of this year, so the opportunity has become available for the right person. Support and training will be provided until the end of year and beyond if needed.
What you'll do:
- Lead our amazing team of administrative staff who take care of our patients concerns with a smile, ensuring our patients feel welcome and listened to regardless of their requests
- Ensure the smooth running of our busy Practice’s day-to-day operations
- Manage a diverse range of team members (including GPs, Nurses, Admin,) and Contractors
- Ensure processes and systems are in accordance with the National Standard for Accreditation
- Understanding of Financial processes
What you’ll bring to the Team:
- Minimum 2 years management experience, in a general practice setting or related healthcare field
- Diploma in Practice Management or Advanced Diploma of Management would be highly regarded
- Strong leadership, communication and supporting teams
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of accreditation, patient billing systems and related Medicare funding
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills across administration and HR management
- Flexible approach to work and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic
