ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a well- established and fast-growing psychology and allied health practice based in North Adelaide. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of the practice on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
You will be employed to provide support for both practices based in North Adelaide and Glenelg who work collaboratively to provide psychology, occupational therapy and family and couple therapy services to clients across Adelaide. Ideally you will have experience in a Practice Manager role within the Allied Health sector.
- This role requires excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi task, and the ability to manage the daily operations and upkeep of the practice.
- Demonstrated a strong ability to work both independently when required whilst at the same time being a team member.
- To act as a Personal Assistant to the Director in regard to being proactive in ensuring all administrative functions of the practice are managed consistently and effectively.
- Implementation / management / supervision of the administration, reception, bookkeeping and marketing functions of the practice
- Processing patient accounts through various management systems
- General Administrative and reception duties as required
- Management and training of the Administration staff
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in management in an allied health or medical administration environment
- Articulate and friendly customer service with a sound understanding of the importance of client confidentiality
- Understanding of HR and the Management of Staff
- The ability to multi-task, work quickly and cope well under pressure with busy telephones and waiting room
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to maintain a calm, sensitive, pleasant, and respectful manner with a diverse range of people
- Must be a fast learner and able to work with written procedures online
- Extremely comfortable with technology with the ability to adapt to office technologies and a paperless environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as being an excellent team player
- High level of organisational / administrative skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, manage deadlines and work extremely well under pressure
