About Us

Based in Hawthorn, Melbourne, the NIIM Clinic brings together Integrative General Practitioners, Medical Specialists and Allied Health Professionals to support patients on their healthcare journey. We recognise that individuals should have access to health information and an integrative holistic health care service that will enable them to manage their own health. At a community level we provide health education and research to advance the understanding and value of integrative medicine, early intervention and improved disease management.

 

About the position

We have high demand for our Clinic services and we are now seeking the expertise of a passionate Practice Manager. We have recently achieved AGPAL accreditation and your commitment to quality patient care and excellence in medical administration will be highly valued.  This is a full-time position, that will see you support the Executive Manager, Client Services

 

The core functions of this role are (but not limited to);

  • Lead all aspects of the Clinic motivating and managing staff, ensuring quality patient care with high levels of customer service.
  • Have an ability to contribute to improving access for patients, including managing change, developing new systems and procedures.
  • Possess strong administrative skills to allocate work and meet deadlines.
  • Bring a collaborative approach with a range of stakeholders Internally: patients, families, practitioners, staff and management. Externally: health agencies, government bodies and other primary health providers and specialist clinics.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, NDIS, Private Health Insurance and other health funding frameworks and an ability to use Best Practice software and Microsoft office suite of programs.
