Como GP is looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join their team of general practitioners, nurses and administration staff. Como GP is a private practice and offers a range of services including, women’s health, childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, wound care, management of chronic disease management and preventative medicine.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Overall supervision and management of the practice
- Continued overall quality improvement
- Developing and maintain policies and procedures
- Ordering medical and stationary supplies
- Managing all human resources aspects, including, performance appraisals, conflict resolution, hiring and training new staff
- Overseeing staff rosters
- Chairing staff and clinical meetings
- Overseeing all aspects in financial management, budgets, staff pays, financial planning and debt recovery
- Leading the practice accreditation process
- Liaise with external providers such as medical suppliers, IT, HR and contractors
- Liaise with external bookkeeper to oversee accounts and financial management
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
Personal Attributes:
Essential
- Full-time or Part-Time (minimum 3 days a week)
- Previous practice management experience
- C Class driver’s license
- Literacy and knowledge of MS Office (in particular, Work, Excel and Outlook)
- Staff management including conflict resolution, hiring and performance management
- Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS), Practice Incentive Program (PIP) and Workforce Incentive Program (WIP) and Practice Incentives Program Quality Improvement Incentive (PIP QI)
Desirable
- Best Practice experience
- Xero/MYOB experience
- Accreditation
