Our busy General Practice in Malvern, Melbourne is looking for a Practice Manager/ Practice Nurse.
This position is an opportunity to enjoy a variety of tasks throughout your working week.
The successful candidate will be well supported by our friendly management team, currently consisting of our Office Manager and Senior Nurse.
Responsibilities will be general administration, financial management, updating and maintaining accreditation standards, assisting with the purchase of equipment, supporting nursing staff during peak times, managing staffing issues and employment standards, advising on Medicare schedule changes, evaluating and updating software, liaising with suppliers of goods and services etc.
This clinic has been established for over 30 years and is highly valued and supported by our patient base. We currently have 8 GP’s, 4 Practice Nurse Immunisers (2 of whom now mainly do Home based Health Assessments) and 11 reception / admin staff.
An excellent salary is offered and will be dependant on experience and qualifications.
