The practice is a mainly Cardiology based along with other specialities.  Located in Campbelltown, close to the public and private hospital. The practice has been delivering service to the community for 15 years and recently undergone a large expansion. We are known for our exceptional patient care and going above and beyond. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic person who  understands the management of large Cardiology practice , has great communication skills and loves working with teams to take on the Practice Management role at our practices. In this full time position, you will be the contact point for doctors, patients, and team members to help to continue to foster a working environment of trust, respect, and collaboration. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Nurturing your team to deliver excellent and sustainable customer service, monitor customer satisfaction and manage feedback, ensuring privacy and confidentiality
  • Financial management of the practice in consultation with the accountant 
  • Rosters and timesheets.
  • Strategic planning, and risk management.
  • Supervision of service and maintenance of practice equipment and stock control
  • Maintaining policy and procedures to remain compliant to regulations and legislation
  • Human resource management
  • Liaising with the accountant.
  • Assisting receptionist on duty during consultation sessions
  • Diary management for the Principal
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and grow the practice
  • Attending regular meetings with board of directors.
  • Have effective, strong communication with staff and directors.
  • Good book keeping, computer and some accounting skills.

 

 Desirable Criteria

  • Cert IV, Diploma or higher in a relevant field such as heath, health services management, business administration, practice management
  • An understanding of medical terminology
  • The ability to type at least 50wpm
  • Prior work experience with Financial Management
  • The ability to identify and market to potential customer base and co-ordinate GP information and education sessions
  • A background in practice management prior, and prior cardiology work.
