An exciting opportunity exists for the right candidate to join our growing General Practice.
Health on Central, located in Andergrove, MACKAY, is seeking an experienced General Practice Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the practice’s day to day operation and administration team.
The Practice Manager is part of the reception team and supports the Business Manager with staff management, developing the reception team, supporting the delivery of quality customer service to doctors and their patients, rostering, and in maintaining Accreditation. The Practice Manager ensures that the practice runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
Reporting to the Director/Principal GP and Business Manager, you will assist the management team to help grow and shape the future of this practice.
Primary responsibilities include:
- All day to day operational aspects of the practice
- Human resource management, including rostering
- Clinical software management (Best Practice)
- Clinical quality improvement (PenCat)
- Change management and productivity
- Policy and procedure review and accreditation (PracticeHub)
The ideal candidate for this role will preferably have:
- 5+ years General Practice experience
- A practice management diploma and/or experience in the role and/or a relevant Degree in management or business
- Knowledge of Medicare and RACGP’s accreditation standards
- Experience with the software products listed above
- Well developed computer literacy and IT skills
